Launching soon in Salisbury & surrounding villages

Collected. Cleaned. Returned.

One less thing to worry about.

A simple collection and return laundry service designed for people who'd appreciate one less household task on their list. Every member gets their own Folded laundry bag. Fill it throughout the week and we'll collect it, clean it, fold it and return it ready to put away.

A nominated family member can also receive a text message when laundry has been collected and returned.

A simple text message when laundry is collected and when it's returned.

For families supporting someone from a distance, it's one less thing to check on.

Sometimes it's the little jobs.

"Laundry rarely becomes difficult overnight."

The bedding gets harder to change. The basket feels heavier. The washing starts taking longer than it used to.

Folded is designed to help before those small jobs become bigger problems.

Convenience

No heavy baskets. No washing building up. No need to fit it into the week.

Reassurance

Know the laundry has been taken care of.

Independence

Practical support without taking away independence.

Three simple steps.

Step one

Receive your Folded laundry bag

Your own reusable bag, yours to keep filling.

Step two

Fill & leave

Leave it in the agreed collection location.

Step three

Collected. Cleaned. Returned.

Everything comes back clean, folded and ready to use.

We're starting with just 20 households.

Before deciding whether to launch Folded, we're speaking with local households to understand whether the service would be useful and what it should look like.

Why I'm exploring Folded.

My nearly 90-year-old mother-in-law lives independently in her own home. She's determined to stay there and, if we're honest, she has no interest in anyone suggesting otherwise.

Like many families, we've found ourselves in the middle ground. She's doing well, but some everyday jobs are becoming harder than they used to be. Not enough to need care. Enough to create the occasional worry.

At the same time, through my work with home care organisations, I've seen how much support exists around personal care, medication and wellbeing, while practical household tasks often fall outside that support. Laundry is one of them.

That's why I'm exploring Folded. Not as a laundry business, but as a simple way to help people stay independent for longer and help families worry a little less.
